How to set up kiosk (shared tablet) clock-in
Let workers clock in and out at an on-site tablet with a PIN, instead of their own phones.

Kiosk mode turns a tablet at your site into a shared clock-in point: workers tap in and out with a personal PIN, so they don't need their own phones. It's ideal for a fixed location like a café, reception or site office.
Set it up
- 1On the job, turn on Kiosk-only clock-in in the check-in rules. Workers on that job then clock in/out at the kiosk rather than from the app.
- 2Set up the kiosk from the Kiosksection of your dashboard — pair the tablet you'll use on site.
- 3Each worker uses their PIN on the tablet to check in and out. Their hours flow into attendance just like a normal check-in.
Why it's safe to leave out
Because it's locked to clock-in only, the tablet can sit out in the open without exposing your jobs, payroll or settings.
